The Long Island Game Farm is thrilled to announce the official opening of its new North American Alligator Exhibit on Saturday, July 25^th (rain date July 26th). This latest addition to the wildlife park offers an immersive, educational experience, providing guests with a unique opportunity to observe these magnificent reptiles in a spacious, naturalistic habitat.

The new exhibit is home to three juvenile alligators: Snappy, Al, and River. Designed to mirror the alligators’ native environment, the habitat features warm basking areas, shaded spots, and a large water feature where the alligators can swim and cool off. The exhibit was expertly constructed by Sound Shore Ponds, Inc. to ensure a safe, engaging, and healthy environment for its new residents.

In addition to viewing the alligators, guests are invited to deepen their understanding of these fascinating creatures through daily programming. The Long Island Game Farm will host “Gator Talk and Feedings” every day at 11:15 AM and 2:00 PM. These sessions are designed to educate visitors on alligator behavior, their role in the ecosystem, and the importance of conservation efforts.
