The Long Island Game Farm is proud to present a new exhibition at their 500-person
amphitheater, Tigerpalooza — the new Tiger show for 2008!
The show features rare tigers from around the world. It is world-famous
tiger-tamer John Campolongo's
intent to demonstrate, over
the course of the summer, how
tigers behave naturally and
how he can shape their natural
behaviors and impulses into
formal tricks and stunts, teaching
tigers how to sit, stay and
lick and, ultimately, perform.
This educational and entertaining
show will also stress conservation
of the endangered big cats.
Tigerpalooza will run through the summer only from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day (May 23rd to September 1st) with showings
twice daily, and three times
each day during weekends and
holidays.
Between shows, visitors will also be able to get within four feet of the animals at the Game Farm's outdoor "Big Cat Habitat," where they can see a pair of yearling male lions. Throughout the summer season, guests will be able to hear lectures on the importance of saving endangered lion and tiger species.
